Notice of Spring Election

TOWN OF WESTFIELD

April 6, 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that an election to be held in the Town of Westfield, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, for the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.  All terms are for two years beginning on Tuesday, April 20, 2021

Town Board Chairman – Larry Wilkinson

Town Board Supervisor – Pete Giese

Town Board Supervisor – Ron Bindl

Town Clerk – Julie Strutz 

Town Treasurer – Jess Eastman 

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a town caucus, for the purpose of nominating candidates to appear on the spring election ballot for the above listed offices will be scheduled during the month of January.  The caucus will be held on a date not sooner than January 4, 2021 and not later than January 21 2021. Notice of the scheduled date of the caucus will be given at least five days before the caucus.

Discussion and possible action on Clerk position at the Town Hall.


2020 Revaluation

An educational meeting will be held concerning the 2020 Assessment Revaluation for the Town of Westfield on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be presented by the Town Assessor, Gardiner Appraisal Service, LLC. There will be a presentation explaining the revaluation process followed by a question and answer session.

Tax Collection Notice

Due to the extreme weather conditions
tax collection times for Wednesday, January 30 will be shortened to 5 pm
The Town Hall will be open for tax collection from   3 pm to 5pm.
The Treasurer will accept tax payments at her home from 5:15 pm to 8 pm on that same day.

And certainly there is still time to put the payment in the mail with a postmark of January 31st.
